Probably the most asked question is 'where is a place to have my wedding?'
Location is based on personal preference and of course, your budget. Although we have no personal or professional connection to any of the places shown on our site, here's a few 'unique' locations that we have heard of or have been to:
If you have a beautiful or unique location you would like to share with others please email us the information and a photo if you have one. We will contact the site and get their permission to list them on our page. Thanks!
Northville Mill Race Historical Village Chapel and Gazebo.
Located close to Main Street in Northville at 100 Griswold Street, the Historical Village has a beautiful turn of the century chapel that seats about 100. If you still want a church setting but do not belong to a congregation, this is perfect! There is also a Gazebo in the village and lovely wooden cross bridges. The village is operated by volunteers and closed in the winter.
Located at 27600 Haggerty Rd. in New Boston, this natural wetlands setting featured wooden walk bridges that span across acres of wetlands. Close to the main parking there is an enclosed Gazebo in the middle of the first walk bridge that provides a wonderful setting for a ceremony with the sounds nature. The swans there love weddings!
Again, this location has no actual website but contact information can be found if you search for Wayne County Parks or Crosswinds Marsh.
